350 gr linguine,
1 chopped onion,
2 garlic cloves – minced,
1 and 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano,
3 tablespoons butter,
200 ml heavy whipping cream,
200 gr grated Parmesan cheese,
40 gr small shrimp, peeled and de-veined.


Cook linguine according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, sauté the shrimps for a couple of minutes, set aside. In the same saucepan melt the butter, add the onion, garlic and oregano and cook until crisp-tender. Return the shrimps to the pan, gradually add the cream; cook and stir over low heat for a couple of minutes. Drain linguine; top with shrimp mixture, add the Parmesan and sauté over high heat until linguine absorb the cream and are well coated.
