400 gr penne,
400 gr fresh or frozen shrimps,
200 gr frozen peas,
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest,
1 tablespoon olive oil,
White wine,
Juice of 1 lemon,
Chopped fresh parsley,
1 small onion – chopped.


In a large pan heat the oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft and translucent. Add the shrimps, and the white wine and sauté until the wine has evaporated. Add the lemon juice and peas, reduce to simmer, cover and cook 5 minutes or until peas are tender. Should you need you may add a little fish broth.

In the meantime, bring a pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions and drain. Toss the pasta, in the pan and sauté for a couple of minutes so that it absorbs the remaining juices, serve sprinkled with the lemon zest and parsley.

This dish may also be served cold as a salad
